In my efforts to help my clients as much as I can, I utilize a number of different therapeutic models including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Family systems, Gottman Method, Humanistic, Imago Relationship Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic, and Solution-Focused Therapy. When it comes to therapy, I do not believe it is ever a one-size fits all situation, so I use aspects of different models, depending on what seems to work best with each individual client.
I take pride in working with people from various backgrounds/fields including athletes, CHP officers, Correctional employees, couples, families, Firefighters, individuals, LGBT, military service members, military families, and police officers.
While I consider Couple’s Therapy to be my focus, there are a number of other problems I enjoy helping people work on. Some of these include abuse, anxiety, depression, family conflict, life changes, self-esteem, stress, and trauma; just to name a few.
My current rate is $150 for a 45-minute session, and $250 for a 90-minute session.
I am in-network with a number of insurance companies and Employee Assistant Programs (EAP). Some of them include Anthem Blue Cross Medi-Cal, Blue Shield of California, MHN, Magellan (Western Health Advantage), and Optum (United Healthcare or United Behavioral Health).
The EAP companies I take are ACI, Ceridian, Concern, Magellan, MHN, and Sutter.
If you would like to utilize your medical insurance or EAP benefits, please check with your carrier to make sure I am in-network with them.
